Comenzando por el proceso de elección que instituye como presidente de Brasil a Luis Inácio Lula da Silva, y siguiendo el curso del primer año del nuevo gobierno, la película busca reflejar el espíritu del pueblo brasileño de cara a las nuevas perspectivas políticas. Y por medio de imágenes que capturan los ritmos urbanos cotidianos se establece un interrogatorio respecto al futuro del país.
The film starts with the election campaign in which Luis Inácio Lula da Silva becomes President. It follows the course of the new governments’ first year. The film seeks to reflect the spirit of the Brazilian people within these new political perspectives. Through images capture the daily urban rhythms and the questions that the future poses for the country.
